Tim’s creative journey began with a fun Midwestern upbringing and a pivotal drawing class at Illinois College, leading him to pursue an Industrial Design degree from the University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign.  In 1990 he studied at SACI in Florence which profoundly influenced his artistic perspective, particularly in the realm of outdoor art.  After graduating from U of I in 1991, Tim refined his skills in design and finishing at Zoom Productions, where he developed a discerning eye for color and light. In the mid-1990’s he moved to San Francisco to advance his career on the West Coast.  Today, Tim excels in blending diverse materials for commercial and residential projects taking ideas to completion, infusing the artistic spirit of Burningman into the real world with innovative fire/water fountains and custom LED enclosures for architecture and outdoor spaces.
